Better price than the local auto supply stores
This Fram filter - rated to 5 microns - is the only one I use in my Ram truck and so far (knock on wood) I have had no injector issues. Price and delivery can't be beat.

Okay filter but there are better ones out there
These seem have a loose fit on the main stem of the filter bowl and after a recent experience with water in a tank of fuel I was glad that I had installed a NAPA Gold filter. Water did not pass into the injection system but stopped the engine by completely blocking the filter. Had me worried but draining the filter housing and installing a new cartridge got me back on the road.

Fits 2003 Ram Diesel but is different design than OEM. If purchased you will think it is the wrong filter but be assured it is correct. I talked to FRAM and they sent me a technical bulletin for this filter and what is different from OEM and shows how this filter installs correctly. Not a very good product. First time buying this brand. It will be the last. Not a perfect fit as other brand's.
