Behringer Eurodesk SX3242FX Mixer with Effects

SOUNDExcellent for the price very clean and warm. The pre-amps are not exactly hot but very decent. if you are a not-so-loud band like mine, then you'll be fine. As they advertise it, this is a very low-noise mixer.The effects are a very nice feature, too bad you can't tweak them since they are presets. Also, the four buses are great for sub-mixing. Complete control on your headphones. The feedback suppression feature is awesome. Limited to two sends, but for my needs that's just fine. Plenty of inputs...if they work.QUALITYHere is why the two stars. Mine arrived with three dead channels, right out of the box. I spent countless hours reading probably all of the reviews there are out there before I decided to buy this thing, and (granted that Behringer has a reputation for not-so-great quality products) I ran into a couple of horror stories about this mixer breaking down little by little in two or three years after usage, or after 500 gigs, so I thought they might have hit a bad batch or poured coffee, pop or whiskey on the mixer (that is known to happen at wild gigs)or may be had an inexperienced person handle the console, but I did't expect it to come right out of the box, brand new, with three dead channels. Completely unacceptable. Two stars is actually TWO generous. Five stars to AMAZON for their return policies. I ordered a replacement and we'll see how that goes. I do believe in second chances. I hope Behringer doesn't let me down.The faders and pan-pots don't feel all that cheap, but they are not the best quality either, although for this price, I did not expect something made out of gold.EASY TO USEExtremely easy, very straight forward mixer.BOTTOM LINEI really hope the replacement works(I really like the sound and the features on this thing), otherwise I will have to spend my money somewhere else.Update 10/27/2012I received a replacement from AMAZON, so far every thing works and haven't had any issues after two gigs. Good Sound Board. I am using in a church setting. It replaced a much more expensive unit, and is doing a much better job. It has almost eliminated feedback. It has many ares yet to be explored, but those that we are applying make the purchase well worth while.

I loved everything this product had to offer, the price, the quality pots, with the aux buses and the effects. When it did work it was amazing. Very clean sound and a straight up beautiful looking machine. However the first one I bought the effects processor began to malfunction with flashing lights and very loud noise and feedback. I returned that one and tried again through amazon. Price and service from amazon was fantastic. Used the product for about weeks. When it worked it was wonderful. However, again while using one of the effects it again started with what seems to be an overload and both processors began with intense noise and the lights flickering. After reading more reviews I'm thinking this is not coincidence and the effects processors in these machines are faulty. :(

This is very easy to use and the quality of the product is excellent.I also use a PV 20 USB and this has much more capability for our particular church application.

This is a sweet board. I'll be using it in a school for assemblies to drama performances. With 24 mic channels, I think we will be in great shape. Plus the onboard effects and other features - great board at a great price.

Not bad for the price. I like its predecessor better, though. We have used both. What used to be outputs are now substituted for onboard effects. I generally prefer my own effect boxes. I think you get your money's worth.

We received the mixer on time, but in less than 2 month we are experiencing technical problems already. The effects display started flickering in and out, and now is completely off must of the time. The sound system is ok with this mixer, is what we expected for the price, but very disappointed to start experiencing problems sow soon. Let's see how the warranty works...

I ordered this for my high school musical and use 10 individual headset microphones along with plugging a computer in to provide music. Works wonderful as many complimented on how well they could hear my actors and actresses. Thank you for the fast shipping.
