Warning! This is made for the sched 40 fittings, not for the pipe.
The flush design of this cleanout plug was just what I was looking for.Warning!!! This is made for the 4" (schedule 40) pipe fittings, not for the pipe itself. If your inside dimension (ID) opening where you intend to install this doesn't measure at least 4 1/4" (minimum) up to 4.50" (maximum), don't waste your time because it will not fit!Otherwise, it appears to be a quality made product.

Works and looks great.
I finally stymied my dogs. They somehow can remove the standard PVC cleanout plug. Since they haven't figured out how to use an Allen wrench yet, I'm safe for a while. I didn't give it 5 stars only because when fully tightened the gasket doesn't expand enough for a tight fit. Though it expands enough to it won't come out, but not tight against the clean-out flange. It's really a 4.5 with this slight shortfall but that's not an option !

Seals damaged threads
This 4-in plug fit perfectly in the cleanout hole. tighten down nice and firm. repaired the damaged thread problem. Glad to know these are available

Great Product
The product was great. Just what I expected. Unfortunately it didn't fit my pipe. My mistake when ordering. If you had the size I needed, I would have ordered again. But no problems in receiving, or returning. Quick and easy.

Missing pieces
Item is simple and straight forward in construction, works fine. Description listed item comes with 5/16 wrench, but the plug was the only thing in the box when it came.

It’s not fixing 4” pipe . Side difference, it’s like 4.2”
