Kids love it, read for details.
Pictureka has long been my kids' favorite game. After buying the first one it was clear we had to have the second one as well. Then when I saw a Disney version, well... this was a no brainer. We've never actually played by the real rules, maybe I only have one kid who can understand that, but the other two can't. What we do is just find the items on the blue cards. We leave red and green in a baggie and don't even play them. The kids love trying to find the characters. As an adult I can play with them and obviously I always win, the older child (8) always beats the middle child (5), and the youngest (2) well just likes pointing at things and we give him cards from time to time. The thick cardboard game pieces don't bend easily, and they stand up to children throwing pieces around, walking on them, being left out, spills, etc. It is glossy coated so you can wipe food and jelly right off. This was actually a really good game for Grandpa to play with the kids because he only has one eye and it helps him to use it more. Plus the kids could beat him so they loved it even more.

Great game but one card is unplayable
This is a great game and you can even combine it with the origional version of Pictureka. The only thing I found was one of the cards (which one exaclty escapes me) is unplayable. The game has you look for a specific picture that is only on the board once, well sometimes you have to flip parts of the board over, thus changing the location of the pictures, but that specific picture your supposssed to find is on both sides. Except for one. One part of the board has the picture on one side but not the other. How they missed this mistake is beyond me. Otherwise a great game just remove that one (blue) card and enjoy. There are still plenty of other cards and this does not hurt the playablity of the overall game.

A great gift for a young child
We love to play Piktureka at home and when a birthday came up we found this and decided it was perfect for her. My kids love to play and get so excited when they find what they are looking for.

Incomplete
The set came incomplete; missing 3 cards, dice, and a sand timer. However, previous owners did add 4 markers in place of these missing items. There is an obvious discrepancy between what was described and what was received.

Fun!
This kept my 5 and 6 year old granddaughters busy all day Christmas day and my daughter reports they have been playing with it every day since Christmas. She says it's their favorite gift second only to their scooters.

Grand Daughter Loves It!
Our 9 year old Grand Daughter loves this game. She is quick at finding the matching "tiles" and loves to play the game. That said, and based on her opinion I am rating the game at 4 stars. From the adult's perspective, I found the rules to be unclear, the cards easy to bend and the Disney aspect of the game was minimal. I had a hard time even recognizing the characters. Whatever costs were incurred due to licensing were wasted in my opinion. There is little to no Disney magic in the box. From an educational perspective it is good, matching pictures is a great way to help in decoding and facilitating the reading process. I down graded that by one star because of the bleak colors of the pictures, which took away from the interest and made identification of the different pictures more difficult than it needed to be.To sum it up:Enjoyed by a 9 year old girl. Fun for her, but not so much for us "grown-ups."Great game made of cardboard and lightly laminated cards, all easily bent by a child so the durability is questionable. Colors pretty much the blue seem on the box. Little variety there.Somewhat educational, but no more so than in any other "matching" game.4 stars overall is generous, but it does mot warrant 3. It is better than that.Bottom line: Let the kids play it together.
