We have an LG Model 50UM7300AUE from 2019 and we were using a universal remote. We could not easily change channels on Sling and we would have to reload Netflix whenever we wanted to switch to Netflix. It was a nightmare. I was worried about having to program this one but I thought I would just try it as is. IT WORKED! I can see the home menu, switch channels, and switch apps easily. Definitely an excellent purchase for the price. So far, happy!

I never liked the remote that came with my LG TV. It had a rounded shape underneath that made it difficult to use when it’s resting on a flat surface like a coffee table or armrest.This replacement model has a flatter shape, like a typical remote. Super easy, no set up or pairing process. I just put in batteries and it worked for the basics (power and volume) as well as navigating through all the various menus of my smart LG TV.

The remote works perfectly with my TV (LG 43UM7300AUE). I'm very pleased with it.
