Building two Avalanches simultaneously. For the first I bought another brand of header that installed quickly and easily. Everything matched up and tightened down perfectly. I installed these on the other and ran into multiple issues. First, the bolt holes on the headers do not match up to the holes on the cylinder head. Secondly when I got them in place, I was unable to get the spark plug wire reattached to cylinder 5 because the headers were routed directly in front of it. Finally, I tightened everything to spec and fired up the truck, only to find a massive leak occurring due to the above mentioned hole alignment. The bolts weren't tight to the head because the incorrect space g made them reach torque spec early from trying to angle. I'm hoping I did not damage the heads installing these. I absolutely do not recommend. One final note, interestingly, the tubing was significantly smaller than the other brand I used.

Runs good,looks good.I put these on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8 V8. One thing to mention...best way to install these headers is to jack up the front of the truck, take off the two front tires and wheel wells, then your right there and can get to all the bolts.

My 2010 had 1 broken off bolt, inside the head, in the worst possible place. Against the firewall on the drivers side. But luckile they have easy bolt on fixes for it .. Tasan Racing Exhaust Manifold Bolt Repair Kit for KAP169, No Need to Remove Broken Bolts

The fit and finish of this product is excellent. These shorty headers helped smooth out flow. If i wanted performance i would have gone long tubes.

Could've bought some way better headers for less. Thought this would be perfect but it just makes the engine sound bad out of all $5000 I've spent on parts this was the worst $400 ever

The package was packaged poorly!During shipping the manifolds were banging together. The cheap paint was chipped in multiple spots. Also the metal wasn’t prepped prior to paint an the were air bubbles an blister spots. On the plus side welds looked good

Fit great in my 06 Silverado 5.3 crew cab
