Excellent quality, got this to replace my old Gigaset phone of 10 years😊.Lots of useful features like being able to transfer the address book over to the other hand set with the press of a button.You can also block nuisance calls as well which is great.Very easy to set up.Lots of ringtones to choose from .The handset is easy to use and lights up which is a good feature. The volume can be set to max which is nice and loud.Answer machine has various different settings too.There is also a baby monitor on the phone.Very impressed with ease of use the manual is easy to follow.Background can be changed there is also a colour screensaver if you want.Answer machine has 30min record time and up to 200 phone book entries. This phone is far superior to anything by BT and to be honest much much better.Comes with a 2 yr guarantee too. BU Y THIS it's brilliant.It's got plenty of features that knocks the socks off other makes of phone.The cables are a nice long length and batteries are supplied with 2 belt clips for your use.The display is easy to read.Hands free use.300m outdoor range.Incoming missed and outgoing call list.Very happy phone user☺

Overall, I like this phone, so far, but it is NOT 'plug in and use' as described. I'm in my 70s and not good technically, so i bought this because it was advertised as 'plug in and use'. It comes in bits, and has to be put together by the purchaser. At first, I was initially just going to send it back, but then I thought I'd try to connect it up. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and I put it together. I'm in my 70s and this stuff is not easy for me. I left it to charge as instructed, but then, again, you cannot just use it. You HAVE to set the date and time before you can. Again, instructions are relatively easy to follow. So, finally I had a phone I could use.Negatives: Purchaser has to put in the relevant wires etc and leave to charge.The pre-installed ring tone volume is so quiet that if you aren't in the same room you won't hear it. I have no hearing problems but with the TV on I could hardly hear it. Again, I had to access the menu and discover how to increase the volume on the ringtone on the base and on the handset.Similar with the levels on the volume when taking/making a call. The pre-installed are not good enough.The time is constantly displayed on the handsets, which I don't need/want and can't find how to stop that.Positives: The set-up instructions are clear to follow.The ring tone once altered is good, ditto the volume level on taking/making calls.There is no annoying crackle duing calls like there was with my BT phone. The incoming calls are clear. I've only had 1 so far, but it was an international call, and it was very clear, unlike BT phone.The display is clear and easy to read.I don't use the phone book or other options so cannot comment. All I actually want is a phone that you take out of the box, plug in and use. Why is it all so complicated now?? I'll never use the other options on the phone, alarm, baby monitor, ringback etc. It seems a robust model so hope it lasts. My BT one is defunt after l8mths or so.Overall I'm pleased so far, but would prefer a simpler phone.

this is a great phone for the 21st century, I read several pros & cons & it richly deserves 5*, i'd previously bought(& returned BT4600 & BT Essential, both have beens Amazons site for several years but advertised as latest!)Gigaset is fun to set up, has plenty of contact space with home,work,mobile under one name, it lists all outbound calls along with inbound, including missed, call divert/waiting.Theres a baby monitor,one touch call ,appointments,calendar.The answer machine is set up(off/on) from the hand set which I found weird but its simple once you do it first!.The sound is crystal clear & the best part(for me) normally I have hearing aids to listen to phone conversations, but with the phone on speaker I can hear perfectly , so for those with hearing problems its well worth thinking about.It also comes with a belt clip which is very handy to carry around the garden or houseIt comes with ECO DECT.The face is lit up with three choices of faces(Fish) or the time & date.All in all its a great phone & very stylish.

Our old home phones are ancient, both looking and sounding crackling and very dated. So I researched, read reviews and found that both Panasonic and BT mostly produce models first introduced at least 10 years ago....yet sell them as current handsets. Very naughty.So I looked at Gigaset, which have more sophisticated technology. Reviews of nearly all models, no matter what the age, are predominantly excellent which suited me - but then I looked at prices, blimey they’re expensive! So, to find this very neat set of three for a tad over £50 was a massive bargain. Easy peasy to set up, nice big screen, responsive buttons, crystal clear answerphone and use (what a relief not to have that usual fizzy sound on the line as our old phones were) and with gazillions of extra features. Alarm clock, screensaver, nuisance call blocking - dead posh. Oh and the company delivered it within a couple of days! Can I give this 6 stars?!

Easy to set up, instructions easy to follow. Comes with a belt hook very handy for carrying around when your out in the garden. Very light to hold. Comes with a few display options some wallpaper as well already installed, easy to block undesired nuisance numbers. The sound is very clear and the volume is good. Found it a little strange that there isn't a dialing tone unless this is in the settings that I've not read yet.Overall a nice little phone.

Installing the phone was not too bad, sound quality seems quite good not quite as easy to use as my last phone and at the moment there seems to be a problem with incoming calls sometimes cutting off before they can be answered. Will have to see if this sorts itself out, if not it may be going back!
