These amplifiers do the job.
I know they're tiny, and I was weary of the tiniest SM components so far, but what's in you phone to include Iphones. The chip is an American made product and is in many other boards costing way more. Having done research, the traces on the board can carry the current. My testing yields great results, as well as a few You Tubers. As I gave the Pam 8403/5 boards great reviews, these sound even better. So I on occasion buy a few for my stockpile. The only thing I don't like is from the small size, there's no real way to mount a heatsink for 4 ohm use. But my preffered speakers are 8 ohms. Use good quality speakers, Cheap ones just are not going to sound good. They're thin and fragile, so screw mounting is off. Use 2 sided tape or hot glue to mount them. Lastly, of the several that I've tested, none failed. None was dead out of the package. Only one had a crooked mounted capacitor that looked like it was shorted, but it played like the rest. These have not disapointed me once. And one test is I connected it to some vintage Magnavox 15 inch Alnico speakers, well they got very loud. They rattled the windows and I though it was gonna shatter them. Really like being able to set the gain, 20, 36 dbl. For PC or bluetooth module. You're not gonna get that option too often. So don't worry about the advertised wattage, it's for 4 ohms. Without a heat sink, I'll stick to 8 ohms and they'll do just fine.
