360 Sq Ft Acoustical Underlayment with Vapor Barrier for Luxury Vinyl Flooring

I put this down before I laid my LVP flooring in 2021, have loved it ever since! Makes a cold kitchen a totally cozy hangout on those chilly mornings. Set it and forget it, it has worked flawlessly. Just make sure your flooring is designed to handle it. Way cheaper and easier than running separate wires or hot water. Measure carefully before you order, you can easily trim the length, but can’t trim the width. I paired it with a Suntouch programmable thermostat, excellent. I installed this myself, so it was a fairly inexpensive project. I had to use a router on my subfloor to route the wiring and the thermostat sensor to the electric. I also installed 2 temp sensors. If the first one ever fails I can just attach the second without tearing up the floor. No problems so far!

The media could not be loaded. This was installed in a second floor as I didn’t want to bother the neighbors in the condo downstairs. I haven’t lived with this for a long time yet, but the floors seem solid and I cannot imaging too much noise is being transmitted downstairs. The combination of the cork backing on the LVT, the acoustic layer in the LVT, and this product seems to be as much assurance of a quiet floor as I could find. Our professional installed had not used it before, but he seemed to think it was a good product.

Worked out great for our LVP installation. Used the red underlayment tape (Roberts) to seal joints and fix any nicks. The underlayment is not too thick as to cause any flexing with LVP joints, but still enough cushion to make walking on it pretty quiet.

Used this underlayment for a DYI install of lvt. This product worked well, was pretty easy to install. Unfortunately our lvt was poor quality and was a nightmare to install, but that had nothing to do with the Quietwalk underlayment. It seems to really help with the noise of walking as it was installed in a loft above a garage. Would use it again.

All my needs were met with quiet walk lv. I had been looking for an underlayment for my concrete slab that was a vapor barrier, sound muffler, resistant to mold but mainly for being able to use it for my glue down flooring. Easy to layout too

Installed this under 3500 ft.² of luxury vinyl plank. It cuts out the echoey sound that you get when walking on a home with a crawlspace floor or an upstairs floor. Word of advice the role comes taped together from the factory. Do not peel the tape off or you will be left with a sticky strip that won’t allow the floor to float. Just cut the tape and leave it on the underlayment.
