Nice batting
Based on recommendations I went with this batting for oven mitts and hot pads. It is the perfect thickness and when put the test in the hot pads, it worked well. I will probably use this for placemats as well. I have not washed them yet, so I can say how it holds up after washing. Will update at a later time on that.

Excellent value, not too thick for sewing
Used to make some pot holders. The insulation is perfect for oven mitt too. The amount I received for the price was exceptional. It is also thick enough to protect, but not too thick when sewing other fabric to it.

Good value
I search and compare when I shop so found this to be good value. Could find less expensive but not with fast and free (not exactly free as I’m prime member) shipping. Used insul-brite to make potholders. (See photo). Insul brite is easy to work with. Follow your pattern or video instructions for good results.

Great product!
I have recently been using this product in my crafting of hot pads and pan handle sleeves. It is easy to use, thickness is perfect for what I have been doing. Great quality.

Works wonderfully for Pot Holders
This was absolutely perfect for my Pot Holders, I doubled up on it for added protection but it definitely insulated the pot holders perfectly, no hot hands. I will be buying again.

Ok, but makes noise
This is my first time using Insul Bright. Mylar film great insulating batting for lunch boxes, soft side coolers, potholders and oven mits. I usually use Bosal or Pellon, but saw this InsulBright for a great price and decided to try it.It looks the same as the other brands, and it has good weight. The only drawback is that it is very crinkly and noisy.I make 15" hot pads for casserole dishes, and this makes it sound like a child's sensory toy instead of a hot pad. That sound - I'm not fond of it.Too bad. Now I have two full bags and a half bag that I'm not going to use. I'm glad I got them for the lower price. Maybe I can sell them locally or on ebay.
