Marcato Pasta Device, Pink

Having had an American version pasta machine in the past that I left with my sister, when my daughters sent me the Marcato Atlas 150 machine for Christmas, I was surprised at how light it was. It has more settings than the American version and the cuts are more precise. I love the color - a bronze-orange color that looks like a spicy addition to my kitchen equipment rather than a piece of industrial machinery to hide away between uses. Turning the handle is not nearly as stiff as the previous version making it faster and easier to use. I love this machine and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pasta machine.By the way, electric pasta machines are less precise when you want vermicelli or very thin pasta which is why all the Italian women in our family use a hand operated machine. My sister's grandson, a chef in Orlando, uses her machine to make Ice Cream Sandwiches ... using a cake dough and running it through the machine to ensure the same thickness for all sections.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of pasta or not, you can whip out noodles even if they aren’t of Italian origin. I love this so much. One of my favorite kitchen piece. Adding the avant- grade to my island for sure. Such a vibe. Apart from the aesthetics, it’s an amazing amazing workhorse and I just have so much love for it. I’ve made Chinese egg noodles, pasta fresca and wonton wrappers. AMAZING

Used to have the kind that hooks up to a mixer. Lost in a house fire. Knew I wanted a pasta roller again, and saw this. What a pleasure to use. Easy to set up, easy to use. Love it. Can't attest to longevity as I just got it a month or so ago, but it feels substantive and solid.

I purchased what was advertised as the (pink) Marcato Atlas 150 Wellness. The Wellness model is made with anodized aluminum instead of chrome-plated steel. The image of the item on the page showed "Wellness" on the item itself and the description discussed the anodized aluminum components. The box, and instruction manual on arrival said Atlas 150 Wellness. The item in the box, however, was NOT the Wellness model. It was the cheaper "classic" model with chrome-plated steel. (see photos) I have arranged to return this item and reported the seller to Amazon. AVOID this seller and the clear case of bait and switch....and always check your purchases!

Liked color and roller part. The noodle making part a little bit of a challenge. Sticks in the roller but with enough flour should work.

I have tried to find a good machine for my polymer clay. I have gone through so many. This beautiful piece of machinery is absolutely perfect for my polymer clay. Follow the instructions , don't reverse the handle and you will love it too!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pasta maker <3 I am so happy I purchased it. I bought it so I could roll my cannoli dough and it really makes all the difference. This is so easy to use. Great for making pasta too, although I didn't buy it for that as I had never made my own pasta before, I doubt I will ever buy pasta at the store again when making it is so easy. I got mine in the color "pink"...which is more of a rose gold or copper color depending on the angle that you are looking at it. It is kind of like the dress on fb, is it blue and white or gold and white? LOL. Color doesn't really matter, it does not effect the way the pasta maker works. Super easy to clean, and just an all around great buy.

Saw this on America’s test kitchen when my first (unknown brand) pasta maker began to rust. This works great and is really well made. Super easy to use, and now my pasta comes out even better than before. No wonder it got great reviews!
