This by far is the best hay I’ve purchased from Amazon & EBay, and I’ve tried many companies! Sometimes would be eaten by my horses and then would go downhill that they would sniff and not eat! I was getting to my wits end with the quality of hay I was receiving and it was diabolical even I could tell!Then I found Ferns Farm hay,. My horses both cannot get enough of it and go crazy eating it. I’m so relieved and pleased I’ve found it. I’ve had 3 lots so far and all are perfect quality.. perfect size bags and price I really can’t moan . They are laminitis prone and was controlled amounts I give them.. they are outdoors with a huge field , but the grass has been pretty rubbish this year so I’m supplementing their diet..so happy about this :D please don’t let ur quality fall like the rest .. it’s top notch 👍lol not really a problem because the quality is so good .. it’s just hard work pulling out the hay that u want to get lol.. but seriously it’s irrelevant to me now .. won’t bother with anyone else’s now xx

The rabbits enjoy this hay. However it is packed so tight that it is nearly impossible to get small quantities out of the bag. If you have animals that you would remove all the plastic and let them graze it would be ideal. I had to use a small garden fork to prise it apart sometimes taking 10 minutes to get enough hay for the bunnies. Once I got down to the last quarter it became easier to separate. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Maybe we got a bad bag but it was 80% or more straw. Dry, hollow but crushed straw stalks like they use for cow bedding, a by product from grain production.It was definitely not hay.Issue now is how to dispose of it as the guineapigs and rabbits won’t eat it.Has put me off buying animal food online.

Product was packed so stiff I can’t rip it out to feed it to the Guinea pigs,good value but I’ve had to buy more hay as I can’t get it out of the bale

Very poor quality hay. Guinea pigs completely un interested. I can only think its that bad they're not even interested in playing in it. I did ask if it was ok for guinea pigs and I was given a yes answer. Sorry but you must be thinking of something else you bought. No smell, no green grass, awful stuff. Not happy at all 😠

Smells femented like silage and damp, horrible, looks OK but won't buy again, not even for bedding.
