BlackBerryPassport Silver Edition Sync Pod

I'm so glad Blackberry made this for the Silver Edition Passport, but it also works with the Classic when it has back cover case on as well. That's the reason I bought this since my wife's Classic fit into the sync pod I got with my Passport Silver Edition. Excellent product.

The Blackberry Sync Pod has done everything I hoped it would do as I use it each time a new charge is needed.

Nice docking station for a "smartphone without a case". But I have one and it's thick. With it the docking station doesn't work. I have to remove the front mount and think of how to fix the smartphone while it's charging. The easiest way is to put them on sides, so the docking station turns into a horizontal holder. The front mount could've been designed better with a folding part or make a second one as a package deal. Who has a 3D printer might pimp the station, who doesn't have a thick cover, can comfortably use it as is.

BlackBerry has released several docks. The Passport docks were not well thought out as they don't accept phone with any kind of case. (the dock for the Priv works fine with the BlackBerry dock, ironically).Kidigi (Kidigi micro USB) makes a stand that works with the Passport. Not as attractive, but has port in back to connect to as well to USB computer port and gets the job done for original Passport and Silver edition with hard cases. It's available on Amazon.

fits by Silver Edition perfectly! sits on my nightstand, charges my phone, and is just the right angle as a great clock/alarm, too!
