Came nicely packaged but when we opened we found that it's missing electrical connection and some gaskets.

Had to remove a cheap Chinese heater that only worked for one trip… replaced it with this and luckily the cutout in the floor of my van was a perfect match. Since I haven’t used it much I’ll update this review later but my initial impression is good. This is at least twice the build quality of the other and it’s a genuine 2kw… not a tuned down 5kw. It’s smaller but still cranks out the heat! Tested it for three nights in South Lake Tahoe at 40 degrees during the night and cranked out the heat! In fact, it was too hot! I had to crack a window and open the roof vent and it was still to hot at the lowest setting. I’ll have to purchase the digital controller and thermostat temp sensor to get this dialed in better but it performed perfectly. It’s such a huge improvement over the cheap Chinese heaters but only time and more camping in cold weather will tell.
