MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust Muffler 13288: 3"/2.5" Inlet/Outlet, 4x9x14" Oval, Stainless Steel, Satin Finish

I just returned from my custom shop and used to replace the stock muff (deleted the stock reso's too). She sounds AMAZING! An excellent low end rumble with great output and no interior noise (resonance). This is an excellent mixture of magnaflow quality and the deep rumble of a chambered muffler (flowmaster). Awesome work Magnaflow!

Although these universal mufflers didn't fit my 09 BMW 750LI, the seller has agreed go except a return on his dime, thank you!! Great interaction with the Seller! I wish I could have heard these mufflers in action.Quality looks great...however, my exhaust guy here in Germany stated that they WON'T be loud/deep/aggressive as they are NOT straight through...whatever that means, but he showed me and I just shook my head in agreement...no idea, but I figure worth mentioning.And no, they don't have "Magnaflow" stamped on them, but they do come with paperwork and stickers and the inside chambers looked brand new and of-quality. Some controversy on if this 13288 XL comes original with the "Magnaflow" stamp on em...some say no...in the end, it's the inner workings that makes that roar you're looking for, the relief of back-pressure, that increase of a few extra ponies, and that slight decrease in the pockets at the pump...so get em...install em, and let us know if they rumble!

I purchased this unit expecting something other than what I received. Other posts say it had good sound, and others said that it doesnt have Magna Flow written on it, which is true, but that didnt bother me. What does bother me is that when it was installed, it didnt provide the sound that I expected. After talking to my exhaust guy, he says that MagnaFlow is not the way you want to go if you want the best sound. He says FlowMaster is the best for making your exhaust sound as good as it gets. I wouldve purchased the FlowMaster muffler if I had known that.I still do like the sound I get out of it, and from my past experience I know that it is better to have too little sound, than too much sound. It still gives off a good resonation, although I wish it was a bit louder. Ill stay with what I have, although if I could do it over, I would pay the extra amount for the FlowMaster system.
