The charger for my Aventon Pace 500.2 that came with the bike broke, called Aventon, they declined to send me a free replacement despite me never having dropped my charger or anything.Aventon wanted to charge me $50+ for a new charger. Got this product for $20. Does the job, charges quick.

I have had this charger for about a year and it still charges my e-bike. Durable and for the price it is at, I highly recommend it you won’t find a better price anywhere else.

The media could not be loaded. tl;dr- Don't buy. Could have burnt my house down.To preface this, I'll just say that probably this is my fault. It's what I get for buying one of the cheapest chargers I could find on Amazon. But the reviews seemed decent, so i did.Shouldn't have.During it's 4th or 5th use, I happened to pick up the big brick part (I realize thats not the official name for it), and it was hot. No, that's not accurate. It was blazing f***ing hot. After quickly unplugging it, I realized that the aforementioned brick had begun to deform from the heat (see video/photo). Had I not happened to pick it up when I did, who knows what could've happened.I have a feeling that my experience with this charger isn't unique or uncommon either. The Chinese hands that made this thing should be ashamed of himself/herself.
