I’d never heard of banana flour, but was experimenting with different types of flours. I love this product so much, I’ll be keeping some on hand all the time. I love to experiment with it for casseroles, small personal cakes, breakfast cereal & candies.

Great product.
My first time to try banana flour. Used it to make pancakes using applesauce and blueberries. Delicious. Made extras for later.Seemed to take a little longer to cook than regular pancakes but that could have been due to the applesauce.Don’t hesitate to try new products like this. (New to me ☺️)

Great banana flour for baking!!! Perfect substitute for regular wheat flour in baking cookies. I have tried many banana flour brands and this one is great! I was really surprised because it’s very affordable in comparison to other brands. This is a very good banana flour. I highly recommend and will continue to purchase. Please keep carrying this brand because my chocolate chip cookies came out amazing!!

Formula changed drastically (Update: found out possibly why)
Update 2/12/24 The likely reason for the drastic change is probably due to having to switch suppliers because of a banana fungus that's effecting most banana farmers. I got my original flour, again, and it too, has a weird texture and is not cooking right. In fact, this one, while the taste is off, does cook better. So, I'm going to change my review to a 3 and wish the best for these companies to survive while they try to figure out this unfortunate situation. I do think that the sellers need to be transparent when changing formulas while the industry is trying to come up with a solution.I discovered this brand of green banana flour when LiveKuna was backordered. While Just About was only half the size for the same cost, it was worth it for the taste, but no longer! The lovely banana flavor and smooth texture were replaced by a very grainy texture that tastes like cardboard, is very dense and not very responsive to doctoring. I'm not one to waste food, but I'm tempted to throw it away (or give it away) since it changed so drastically and can't be returned. I would have previously given it 5 stars, but as of my last delivery, it gets one star. I'm going back to the previous brand.

My family did NOT like this flour.
We used it to make crepes. The texture was fine. It measured 1:1 with regular flour. The crepes were normal in every other regard, but TASTE was very unpleasant. We gave it a good try...definitely attempted to swallow, but it just wasn't to my liking or my family's liking. The color was also surprisingly brown after adding wet ingredients and cooking. Probably the color of a whole wheat tortilla that you see in stores.
