I like this 2-cycle weed eater carburetor. I used it to replace my Model Year 2018 Yardman Y2510 (weed eater) Original Equipment carburetor. It was a direct replacement and has worked very well, particularly for much improved cold starts. This is a complete tune up kit, including a "Pacman" screwdriver tool for adjusting the low and high carburetor fuel-mixture ports. While it is easier to just replace the entire power tool (in this case a gas-powered weed eater) than a carburetor, spark plug, air filter and fuel filter, if you are "old school" about fixing the actual problem and saving money, this kit should be on your radar. I cannot tell it apart from the original equipment carburetor. This kit greatly improved my weed eater by dramatically upgrading simple, easy cold starts. Every gasket is included and the spark plug is already pre-gapped. My Yardman Y2510 machine never started this easily. This carburetor tune up kit is a very good value. Smart money.

This carburator replacement kit is exact fIt for the Troy Built model TB22 weed eater. Every piece fits perfectly and the machine started right up after installing the new kit.Gave it 4 stars only because there are no instructions included which could help with the gas supply line installation.Great value and quality!

My Wal-MArt trimmer had to be run with the choke halfway on within the first month of owning it. It finally got to the point it would not run anymore. It was only two years old, so I did not want to just toss it, and saw a recommendation on YouTube by Chicanic that these carbs are a great option for getting more life from trimmers not worth taking to a shop. Install was very straightforward on my unit. Installed the carb only because I did not want to mess with hoses and filter. They still seem very supple, like I said it is only two years old, and run every two weeks over a 6 month period. Started right up, and did not really need adjustment, though I did get a carb adjustment kit here as well, just in case.

I used to clean out old trimmer carbs when they failed or when performance was suffering and olny attained mixed results. Sometimes it was effective...sometimes not. This carb was cheap, only took about 5 minutes to install, and now the trimmer runs very well.
