Simple, sensitive and rugged... just like me sometimes.
This style of pickup worked the best of several that I tried for a cigar box guitar. Very sensitive and clips tight and as complicated as a rock.

Broke on first use
It broke the first time I used it. Sound quality was not impressive, build quality was horrible. And the cord is so short you can't move.
