The tapenade spread is awful. Overly salty and bitter; I know Moroccan cuisine having spent 12 years in Casablanca. It is not fit for human consumption; perhaps I received an item from a bad batch. Furthermore, caveat emptor, you have no recourse to redress your purchase; it is neither replaceable, nor returnable or given a credit. I suggest that the distributor ought to pull this item from his warehouse. Casablanca's markets' green olives are excellent so are the preserved lemons; but this item is horrible.P L

Good balanced flavor. Have tried making my own this is so much easier. Try it on your favorite cracker with a smear of cream cheese or a small rye bread square. Wash it down with a nice sharp pilsner or some bubbly.

Farily good balance and taste but rather oil heavy and quite salty.

I used 3 Tbsp to coat my 1 bag of kale for my Moroccan inspired vegan hash and it is amazing. Perfectly salted and pairs well with the harissa. Beautiful flavor.

I love olive tapenades that I have tried over the years, both green and black olive. They were always chunky like a relish. This is like a paste. It's also incredibly salty. Being as our family limits salt & sugar, I'm at a loss as to what I can use it for. It is so salty it burns your tongue (at least mine). I hate that, because otherwise, it would have been better tasting. I can't even taste the olives.

It is on the salty side which works well for me since I blend with things that need more salt but if on it's own will not need extra salt.

The jar arrived leaking an unsealed. Dangerous to eat. Bad quality control. No refund.
