I bought this for my grandson who has gotten back into building his own designs of Lego cars, boats, trailers, and trucks, this set makes it easier for him to build whatever he wants that used gears, he builds both Technic and regular and this set works for both

Just what my husband and son needed to make their Lego inventions come to life... Haven't seen them since Santa came :/

Speedy delivery however I can't figure out why you would send the drive ring ,shift lever and gears but not the special collar that goes on the axle to lock the ring in place. . basically a useless kit. Great parts but not the important piece
