Annoying high pitch whine - I HATE IT
I bought this adapter for the TV in my bedroom after moving into a new place. It took me a month to figure out what was making the most annoying, high-pitched whining sound throughout the night - it’s this thing! I have not replaced it yet, but I literally have to unplug it to get through the night. The sound isn’t noticeable when the TV is on, but once it’s quiet, it sounds like tiny nails on a chalkboard. I didn’t think it was possible to have such strong feelings about a TV adapter, but this thing is my kryptonite. Spend a few extra bucks on another option and save your sanity.
