A great mower, once you get it off the skid.
Overall a real nice, well made mower. The mower deck appears to be well constructed. It has a very tight turn radius and steers easily. It does ride a little on the firm side. Possibly because the manual says to deflate the tires (they come over inflated) to the max recommended pressure printed on the side of the tire. Dropping the pressure a little more improves the harsh ride.Beware that getting it off the HEAVY wooden skid it ships on is not easy. The instructions, which do not come with the mower and you must find and download, say to just roll it off the skid. There is absolutely no way you will do that. The skid is constructed so as to prevent the wheels from being able to roll forward or backward. And the mower deck, in its raised position, was blocked by the skid. I used a sledge hammer and chainsaw to destroy enough of the skid to get the mower off.It will take two people to install the seat, it is pretty heavy. Mine was missing the hardware to mount the front bumper. AE Outdoor Power had excellent customer service and overnighted me the required hardware. The fuel tank opening is small. You must use a funnel or a spout on the gas can. My 15 year-old Craftsmen tractor had an opening twice the diameter of this one. My mower was delivered with the oil level in the engine 1/2 qt. low.The safety sensor below the seat is too sensitive. The slightest movement in the seat triggers the sensor and the mower cuts off for a second until you shift your behind in the seat.It isn't perfect, but mows well and looks like it will last a long time. I'd buy it again.

Some of the assemblers should be fired along with the quality inspector!!!
The guy(s) who installed the steering should be fired; yet the other assemblers seem to have done a good job! The steering wheel wasn't even close to being centered, and the steer tires had a terrible tow in. Keep in mind that a camera centers the picture due the camera's location; therefore the tow in was actually even worst than the picture suggests.I have a background as being a mechanic, therefore I deemed making the corrections myself to be vastly more simple than trying to load it up on a truck in order to take it to a dealer. The vehicle design also sucks because the mower deck height adjusting shift handle is too tall.Aside from those thins: I believe that this tractor is of high high quality.

The safety of the mower
My lawn mower guy just loves it. He can get the mowing done in an hour and I have a little over an acre of land to mow.

It's got the power
I upgraded from the YTH 48 inch series. I had my old one for about 13 years and had over 700 hours on it. So far this garden tractor is bigger, more powerful, and overall a sweet upgrade for our large land. I like that it is more capable of handling the attachments we have. And the locking diff already saved me from being stuck a couple times without having to get off and pick up the rear end and move it. That said, when it arrived on crate, it was difficult to get it off the crate because of how they lock the wheels into the pallet - can't just drive it off. Had to attach the seat, the bumper bar, and the battery to get up and running. Then had to lower the tire pressure, adjust the wheel alignment, and level the deck to get it all just right. I hope it has the longevity my last one did.

Awesome tractor/mower
The media could not be loaded. I was pleased to see the tractor arrive well crated and completely sealed from the elements. Unboxing was a challenge and was better described as cutting and removing as much as possible from around the tractor to the point where it was free.

Don't buy
Cutting 5 acre yard. Have had nothing but problems with this mower since day one, from getting it off the pallet with bent axles. Vibrating so bad that the metal belt covers broke to digging up my turf on sharp turns. Motor smokes when starting. Don't buy this mower! I only have 50 hrs on this machine and I'm ordering a new set of spindles and all pullys to try to fix the vibration

Shipping Container is a nightmare
Very nice mower, but shipping container skid is almost impossible to get the mower off of. You will need a floor jack, chainsaw and sledge hammer and lots of luck! Once it is off, there are more problems. You have to install the seat and brush guard. The seat has 4 bolts, very little space to try and place them. The brush guard has 2 carriage bolts on each side. The top rear bolt is almost impossible to place! Had to make a holder out of a scrap piece of vinyl fence to hold and place it. From whom ever assembled the mower: Deck is way off! Both side to side and front to back. Steering wheel isn't centered and the steering tires have a bad toe in. I can't correct these problems. Will have to find an authorized Husqvarna dealer. Ridiculous for a brand new mower!
