A friend recommended this to me and after trying it a few times, i’m convinced it’s worth the hype. I have long fine natural hair and most hair masks i’ve used in the past either haven’t made a noticeable difference or left my hair extremely greasy. I tend to use it once a week and it leaves my hair feeling soft, weightless, and voluminous. It genuinely works so well! I know some people were complaining about the smell and it made me hesistant to purchase (I also hate mayonnaise so the bottle is extremely unappealing to me lol) HOWEVER I really enjoy the smell

I have long hair that I've been highlighting for the last 25 years or so. I made the decision to give it a rest and finally embrace my natural color. The process has taken a couple of years and the remaining processed pieces are quite parched. Much of it has actually broken off completely. Not good.This conditioner changed my hair dramatically in just one use.It took a very small amount of this product to coat the entire length of my hair. I didn't even wear a cap and leave it on for long, less than five minutes actually. I couldn't believe the difference.I blew my out my hair and was stunned. it was the prettiest I've seen it in a long time: soft, manageable, shiny, and nicely hydrated.I plan on doing a weekly deep condition (using a cap) with this product. This bottle should last me several months.Good stuff, will definitely repurchase!Update 12/24: This has become my go to for weekly deep conditioning. My hair is mid back, and a bottle lasts me a month or so. Love it.

This product definitely moisturizes. I can feel my hair just soaking it up and rinsing it out left it very soft. My hair is heavily processed from dyes and it was already very coarse and porous to begin with, so when it dries, it feels almost crunchy. With the first use, my curls are noticeably softer and bouncy. I'm not a fan of the scent. While it's described positively in the listing, some other users have commented that it didn't smell good, or smelled sort of like urine. When I sniffed it from the bottle, it smelled sweet and mild so I thought I'd enjoy it. When I put it on in the shower, though, I caught faint whiffs of ammonia. It's not strong, but it's present. It mostly went away after rinsing and my leave-in conditioner took care of the rest. So while the smell isn't pleasant, it's mild enough that any other product you use afterward will overpower it. Despite how good the conditioning aspect of this is, I'm on the fence if I'd purchase it again because I'm not a fan of the smell.

I have colored fine blond hair. I am a natural blond but I have it colored because I like it light blond. Sometimes I need an extra moisturizing because my hair can feels like straw. I use conditioner every time I wash my hair but it can still feel dry. I bought this product because of curiosity. I was happy with how soft my hair felt and plan on using this maybe once a month. The smell is like a light vanilla, not that exciting. I am thinking by some of these reviews that the product goes bad. I would return if it smells bad or doesn’t soften your hair.

I love Korean skincare and decided to give the haircare a go. While researching which products to try, this Haeyo Mayo was at the top of so many lists across the internet, it's reasonably priced, so I went for it. Admittedly, it was the packaging that really sold me, this product is adorable. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. I really want to give this 5 stars but the smell is AWFUL. I've used it three or four times now and I still gag at the smell when I squeeze it out of the tube. Thankfully the scent disappears after I apply conditioner, but those few minutes it's sitting on my hair before I rinse are torture. Worst yet, my hair doesn't feel much better from using it, but it doesn't feel worse either. I intend on finishing the bottle solely because I hate wasting money, (maybe my kids might not mind the smell and use it?), but I definitely wouldn't purchase it again.

When I first ordered this I ordered it because I read some amazing reviews and I needed a conditioner that would work wonders on my fine, damaged hair. I am SO glad I bought this one! My first impression was that the container it's in is cute. I love puns and since this conditioner has egg yolks and shea butter in it, the mayonnaise look is appropriate. I did not like the smell of the product before I even opened the bottle. It is a super strong suntan lotion or sunscreen smell- So strong that I smelled it as soon as I took the bottle out of the box it came in. Still willing to give it a shot, I left it in my hair for the recommended amount of time. It smelled a lot better as I started to massage it into my hair! It still smelled like suntan lotion but a lot less strong and a little more fruity. The conditioner is soft, thick, and silky. It was relatively easy to rinse out of my hair (Which is a problem I have with most conditioners) and once it was rinsed out I could barely smell it at all. Now that my hair is dry there is already a noticeable difference in my hair! It is softer and fuller than before, plus there was less breakage and falling out as I combed through it. Overall this conditioner is a huge win and I will most likely continue to buy it!
