Every vehicle I own has TPMS sensors in the wheels including my utility trailer. I do a lot of my own maintenance including rotating tires so having a too like this is well worth the investment. I was slightly intimidated getting the tool updated with the latest firmware and set up wondering how complicated it was going to be to use. My fears were all for not. The tool is very intuitive and easy to use. Highly recommended even for less techy individuals.

The media could not be loaded. I'm an automotive mechanic and I can say one thing for certain, cars are getting more and more complicated by the day. A great addition to cars is the Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS). It lets you know the air pressure condition in your tires. Some cars display pressure readouts and some just notify you when pressure is too low or too high. But being an electric system, the TPMS is prone to failure or corrupted data. This Autel TS508 TPMS scan tool is the best and easiest way to correct those problems. You can use the scanner to diagnose any issue in the TPMS system and you can use it to correct any issue. Each manufacturer has their brand specific programming and the TS508 covers them all. After selecting your vehicle you select diagnose DTC codes and any trouble codes will display. Once you know the issue you can do any repairs. If it's a communication error between the TPMS module and the sensors, you can go through the reset procedure and get the module reading the sensors correctly again. If you need to install new sensors the scanner can be used to program the new sensors being installed. A big problem today is the use of custom rims and tires. You can use the scanner to program custom pressure settings in those situations. I regularly run 40 PSI in my custom wheels when the car calls for 34 PSI. I reprogrammed my module from 34 to 40 PSI and I don't get an overpressure light anymore. The scanner screen is big and easy to read. The scanner is easy to operate and doesn't require a huge operating manual to understand how to use it. The thing even diagnoses Key FOB issues as well. Something I'm routinely experiencing. As a mechanic this is a tool you absolutely should have in your arsenal. Especially considering there are car manufacturers that are prone to TPMS issues. This TS508 takes care of all those TPMS problems.

Great product and easy to use. I had a TPMS sensor go bad. I replaced and reprogrammed the new senor the TS 508. In addition, I checked my key fobs with the TS 508.

11/29/2023I own a 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid and a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The 2012 Camry Hybrid has summer and winter wheels, so I need a way to relearn the car's tpms on the fall and summer tire changes. So I ordered the Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 TPMS WF from Amazon.When I received it, I dutifully registered it and upgraded to the latest version of software. This process was difficult for me, but I eventually completed it.The ad copy in Amazon includes, "features full TPMS services for 99% vehicles ". I found that for my cars at least, that was not the case.I first tried to identify the TPMS sensor information on my 2012. The menu on the device only provided the 2014 Camry. No entry for 2012 Camry Hybrid. So no go there. I then went to the 2019 and WAS able to identify the TPMS sensor information on each tire.I next tried the function that is supposed to allow you to do all sensors at once. I tried this on the 2019 car and it failed there.I contacted Autel support three days ago, asking a simple question, "Is the 2012 Camry Hybrid supported?" I am still waiting for an answer.The unit's been returned to Amazon. I have purchased a QuicksetX, which also advertises that it works on 99% of all cars. We shall see....
