Primo Flavorstation Home Beverage Maker FSS Freedom 200 (Red)

The kids and the husband love this beverage maker. Easy to use. I love that it dispenses directly into the glass with no bottles to buy or keep clean. I personally just like carbonated water with a lime wedge in it. This dispenser is easy for all of us to use. It is in use daily. Personally love the red color. We leave it out on the counter and it doesn't take up much space.

It looks nice, but am returning it because so far it hasn't worked more than once. Very difficult to set up initially, because everything was a struggle to put together. Had to get help from friends but it still didn't work more than one time, and then stopped carbonating. It is no longer in production and was originally made by Cusinart. All the newer models are in the 100 series. Primo flavorstation now produces them, so I am told, having taken over this side of Cuisinart. Customer service on this item is disappointing. At first when I mentioned the FSS 200, I was told that the FS 100 was the current series, and the help I received was very poor.....What a shame, because the idea of this product was to produce soda water straight into the glass, without having to insert a plastic bottle to make the soda. Great appearance, disappointing outcome and again, poor customer service, because the original product was made by Cuisinart, and they didn't have much information to offer me.

Pro - you can make one cup at a time. It uses a standard paintball size co2 canister.Con - troublesome, simtimes difficult to get it to seal the chamber and carbonate.In the end, I would buy a soda stream instead and just deal with the bottles.

It was very difficult to figure out how to put it together. The cartridge only lasted through four sodas and none of them tasted good. I purchased the soda stream after to compare and it works much better. I will be returning it.

Adds enough carbon for a glass, pretty neat

Love this machine. Had one like before and wore out. Can adjust amount to/of carbonate. Can be small glass and don't need to worry about having full container like Soda Stream. Adapters for Primo or Soda Stream cartridges.

This is my second Primo Flavorstation. I bought this because I liked the idea of filling directly into a glass instead of the bottle. Once I got it working I loved it while it lasted. The mechanism broke after I used it about a month. I am very careful with appliances, and am the only one in the home who used it. I went back to my old 110 model and have used it now for the past year without problems. Go for the older model. The design is much simpler and the set up is easy. I think there is less that cam break on the older model.
