Definitely well constructed. High-quality. It is more of a commercial or military grade as stated. Fantastic product. I’ve been using it for quite some time now. No problems highly recommend it.

Amongst the other reviews I was hesitant but purchased anyway. Mine was not reversed wired like other reviews previously mentioned (maybe they fixed the issue?). I did however have to shave the connecter to fit my baofeng UV-5R. At first I thought there was an issue; you really have to press in your headset jack into the PTT. Make sure that it’s fully seated, it takes a pretty push and you’ll feel it click into place. I didn’t want to force anything and thought there was an issue, just have to push it in all the way. They really should fix the connector issue considering many of us airsofters use the uv5r but I can’t take off stars for that

It works fantastic, however using this with an FMA Amps headset, the wiring needs to be reversed on pins 2 and 3. You’ll see the numbers inside to flip them with. If you have a soldering iron, it takes 2 minutes and there’s a few videos on YouTube. Other than that - it works great! The button isn’t as nice as my nicer Disco32 one, but needed an unamplified PTT and this works perfectly

This does not work. I can receive, though very muted, but cannot transmit at all. Headset and radio were tested and work fine individually without this adapter. Was taken apart and is not wired properly. There isn’t an option to return. Extremely disappointing since I really needed this out in the field at work.

I bought this for an Earmor airsoft headset, and it has the military wiring. If you bought this already and realized it's not quite working, it's relatively easy to fix, if you have the knowledge and tools. You just need to swap the wires on pins 2 and 3.The button itself doesn't feel super great. The whole thing feels as if it was made out of cheap plastic. I suppose that's what you're getting for something that costs only 15 dollars.

the product is great has a nice clip that has some strength to the pinch great audio quality no issues!!!!!

The connections fit, however, the sound does not work and seems to be messed up somehow. I haven't tried the fix that some people have recommended by rewiring the internals.
