Amazing budget friendly machine!
The media could not be loaded. Love the fact its cheaper than any other machine you would find on the market. It preforming to very high standards even though the low cost. As you may see from the pictures it did take me several attempts and probably more to tinker it to the exact settings I want. On my second attempt I belive on no-fault of the machine- I had the small wooden piece which comes with the machine on a slight angle which caused the machine to carve it in a weird shape. Third attempt I got better and quality became much better and I was almost exactly spot on the middle. The installation is super easy two softwares you install and your ready to go.

Entry level laser
Very good entry level laser.Software easy to use, the gantry seems clunky but it still precise.Basically you're getting what you pay for... low price = lower performance in comparison to the more expensive brands

Decent enough for small items - shame about the software
The engraver itself is pretty decent, I’ve made some nice little things but the software is utterly abysmal. Barely useable with Mac as the UI doesn’t render properly, the windows version is ok but very slow and fiddly and throws errors at very basic parts of the software that would have been handled properly if whoever built the software had actually done some testing.

Bargain bit of kit.
Perfect for beginners.Software is very easy to use.I personally took a few attempts at getting the alignment right but once nailed it's easy.Only negative is if your design is too detailed or had large blocks it takes a long time to complete.Definitely a good buy for the price.

Very Impressed
Software install was relatively easy and worked first time (Win10) I did try to install on an old XP machine but could not get it to work gave up on that. After testing on a number of projects I wanted to use it out in the garage but did not want to use my laptop out there so installed the iPhone app and never looked back it works a treat.Instructions are none existent but I found basic setting that seems to work for most thingsContrast 80% Power 80% Speed 80% (good starting point). Also found once an image is loaded and used if you are doing many of the same you can replace the work piece and pressing the centre button on top will show the burn area (on / off) a longer press will burn the same job good if you have a batch to do.

Avoid!
This is a cheap small laser engraver which does an area of 8x8cm- I thought it would be perfect for small projects such as decorations, keyring etc. This was my first foray into laser engraving so went for this model as it seemed simple and was relatively cheap.Arrived all assembled, software installed OK but was of very poor quality - Mac software is is terrible and can't access all features such as outline cut. Windows software allows access to all features but still very poor quality programming.Laser initially worked well after some trial and error with settings for different materials. It is slow and not very powerful (needed many passes on softwood to do an engraving which could be felt as well as seen, without burning the edges), this was to be expected in this price range.I was initially impressed with the quality of the small engravings but shortly after using the device (1-2hrs) it began to malfunction, losing placement on the x axis during engraving and jamming during more detailed pictures. Build quality is poor and although this is a cheaper model I don't think the software or reliability is there for the money.returned to amazon and ordered an Atomstack A5 M20 which was £100 more expensive but seems better in every way so far!
