If you listen to the reviews you'll never purchase anything. Specifically if you go by reviews of this product alone, you're going to never purchase it. There I helped you. But if you're a free thinker and do what's best for you, do yourself a favor and purchase one - you might be surprised at how well it does what it is supposed to do - and if you don't like it, return it.The BookArc works just fine, it's made of aluminum, super high quality and it includes all the necessary inserts to make your MBP standing experience a good one. Will it match perfectly? Nope. Will it hold a MBP with a case? Nope. Should you know this going in to the purchase...yes. But things like that should be common sense, I mean, there's a million different cases in a million different thicknesses - don't make your decisions based on what Kyle expects his experience to be. For what this is, it is perfect. It's a stand. A minimal stand. It stands your MBP up on end. It's literally ALL it does. If you have an issue with it, then I assume you're nothing more than someone who likes to complain. In fact, I ignored the reviews and it works as advertised. A one piece, machined aluminum stand that sits on my desk and holds my MBP. Wow. Imagine that.

First of all, it's packed perfectly. Secondly, it comes with three types of silicone bands that you can easily replace to the holder and have the right fit for your computer. Mine is a 15" MacBook Pro and when I first put it on the holder, it almost tipped over, until I realized I needed to put the correct band. Now it's super sturdy and looks great. This will be very useful for me and clear up the room on my nightstand (or any table) when I'm keeping the computer stowed away. Highly recommend it.

I'm a big fan of how the arching shapes and metal finishes complement a modern decorative style. It manages to hold steady when I raise and lower my standing desk. However, it is crucial that I have the laptop settled into the stand upright, and I'm sure it would wobble if a cat swiped at it. But for average office use, it is stable, and I would willingly make that compromise for the appearance. I see it every day now, after all. I'm glad I got the light color; I realized I wouldn't have liked one that blended in so much with the laptop's colors.

This stand is sturdy and looks beautiful on my desk. My laptop fits in it perfectly. It is well made as is all of the Twelve South items I have purchased. This is not cheap but it is very high quality. I am very happy I purchased it!

Nice piece, simple, works like it should, but way pricer than you should. People buy apple for dependable classic form and function, they spend a little more but prices are coming down with Apple. 12 South thinks they should charge high price for little material. They spend a huge portion on the fancy package and while the product is nice, they want you to pay for it. I ended up returning it just because it made no real sense other than to say I have money to burn when I could’ve paid 10.00 for any of Amazons other solutions also offering the SpaceGrey material. Just sharing honesty.

I used this stand for my 2023 M3 14” MacBook Pro, and I am very satisfied. For starters, it came in very sleek packaging, and I find it interesting that they gave a list of things you can repurpose your box for! The stand itself is very durable and keeps my MacBook very secure.I do want to add, however, if you have a case on your MacBook, you’ll more than likely have to take the case off when you want to use it. Other than that, it is a really great product and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality stand.

The MacBook Air is super loose in this product. Looks great but not the form-fit I was expecting.It's allegedly made for this specific Air model, and the 'lettered' sleeve insert matched up with the product description AND my model - but the laptop just flips and flops back and forth in there. You basically have to position the laptop exactly as you want it - but that positioning is loose. So the laptop won't fall out or anything but any little desk bump is going to have your Air falling back or leaning forward.At the discounted price - it's whatever. Had I paid what these often go for I would have returned it immediately.

didn't fit my laptop because it's got a hefty case, so i didn't expect it to.ended up returning it because i'm buying based on brand; my fault. five stars because i know how my laptop would look and itd be v attractive and complementary to my setup.
