VI VINTRONS EC003, EC007 Battery Replacement for iPod Mini 4GB, iPod Mini 6GB, (3.7V, 750mAh, EC003, EC007 Battery)

Amazing battery life for the size. Was concerned going from 1300mAh to 750mAh but I still get about 6-8 hours of playtime on a single charge!

The battery shipped quickly and arrived on time. It was also partially charged, so I could confirm it would work with my 2nd gen IPOD Mini. The problem is the configuration of the battery! The battery block itself is just a bit bigger than the original. But it had a ‘lump’ along the bottom edge of the pack (where they soldered individual cells together?) that pushed against the HD ribbon cable connector; prevented it from being slid into place. Didn’t want to unwrap battery, so I unsoldered/ moved the headphone plug plate at the top to give me a bit more room. Would NOT recommend that for the timid!!! Then the wiring was longer than the original, but not long enough to change orientation of battery, had to really coil excess wire to get it to fit. As to the actual battery it worked awesome. On a full charge, it played 370 songs over 25 hours straight before running out of charge! My only problem was with the physical size of the battery, performance has been great so far!!!

Works great and is lasting for 8 hours again. The cables are a bit thick, so mind not to pinch them when installing inside the shell.

Bought this as a replacement for my 1st generation iPod Mini battery. The 1st generation has a battery of 410 mAh, this has 750 mAh, so that battery life should've been significantly better. It wasn't, at all. Disappointed. Works OK and didnt have any installation trouble.

I bought this battery for my iPod mini 4 gb and the charge only holds for about 2-3 hours in comparison to the original 8 hours. Now I have to buy a different one and do the whole process over again less then a month after purchase. I do not recommend. Only reason its not a 1 star is because it some what works.

Unfortunately what is shown is not what I got. The battery is not build correctly. The wire is not sitting flush as shown in the picture and preventing the battery from properly installed as it interferes with the battery connector. Save yourself the hassle and order the battery from iFixit, they are reasonably priced and guaranteed to work and fit properly.

New life to an old iPod Nano. Fits perfectly and works great.

Don’t buy! I’ve had it for about 2 months on my ipod mini and charge doesn’t hold anymore. After a day of being fully charged and afterwards left away from the charger not being used and when i was going to use my ipod it didn’t have any charge on it.
