LG Electronics 6877ER1016F Washing Machine Multi-Wire Motor Harness

This was the exact OEM replacement part. The original one had a burned wire which was not clear until I tested with a multimeter and then removed the tape bundling all the wires. If you get the LE error on an LG washer, this cable is one of the common causes. Mine showed signs of water contact but otherwise looked okay.I didn't think it would be possible for one of the individual wires within the bundle to have gotten damaged. The cable does undergo quite a bit of bending stress as the washer tub shakes, which mine was doing excessively. So the combination of water and overstress must compromise one of the wires enough to cause it to burn through its individual wire casing; the result is an intermittent connection which then fails with movement in the middle of a wash. The break was total, but was not apparent until I removed the tape which bundles multiple wires together. I first tested with a multimeter and noticed one set of pins gave a different value than the others, so then I cut off the tape. I could have tried soldering the one wire back together but it undergoes high stress and this part is cheap.best part is Amz delivered it at 6am the next day!

Our Kenmore washer had the LE error code. Hubby initially ordered and replaced the rotor position sensor but didn't fix the error. He then ordered and replaced this on the washer and it worked and fixed the LE error. Washer is now running great and saved us a ton of money from calling a service tech or replacing the washer completely.

Looked over lower cost ones and it seemed that they were all "will fit" and I really did not want to play that game so I got this one that matched up with the original perfectly, so installation was easy making it well worth the extra money. Replacing this and the sensor fixed the LE error I was having. It cost about $60 to fix it vs buying new, I call that a huge win.

LG / Kenmore washer was showing the LE error code and would not run after a few minutes of operation. Also sounded bad like it was straining. I replaced the hall sensor thinking that might be the problem but behaved the same way. Pulled out the motor cable and on the bottom found the burnt wire shown in the photo. This cable looked and fit exactly like the original. Easy to install and only took about 15 minutes start to finish. Fully restored operation.

It works as intended, but unfortunately it did not fix my LE error on my LG washer. I replaced the harness and it still gives me the same error code LE, I will replace the rotor sensor next to see if that is the issue. I will update the review once I figure out what part is at fault.

This is the perfect fit for the LG front load washer - although the picture doesn't look like it. The key for my model (and other reviews for similar products) is the "F" at the end of the product number and not the "B". This one has the longer length and the extended green ground wire that is needed for the install, whereas the other is not long enough. Only gripe is that it doesn't come with the one zip-tie screw holder and the anchor zip tie. Minimal issues there though, I got that.

Washing machine displayed the LE message. Looked up code and this part could be the problem. Since the part was pretty cheap, I replaced it along with the big metal coil part. Machine works great! Very easy to replace this part.

While trying to replace stator & Hall sensor (Rotor Position Sensor) in my LG washing machine, I damaged the motor harness. This harness works perfectly for LG WM4270HWA. My washing machine is doing its first load of laundry since being repaired. One risk I took in buying this harness was that I was unable to verify if it would fit my washer model. However, this is the only motor harness I could find online that looked exactly like the one I wanted to replace. It was a risk but I am glad that I took that leap of faith.
