Using Them For Dumbbell Stands!!!
These are GREAT for use as "dumbbell stands"!!! That is why I purchased them!! Keeps your dumbbells from rolling around and in one spot on hard flooring (wood, tile, stone, etc.)! Got them sitting on the floor, right next to my dumbbell utility bench! I think the max weight they can hold without collapsing is 30 lbs.P.S. I'm sure they would also work great for what they are actually intended - cutting angles for wood frames ;)

Great Quality!
Excellent quality, but if I had been able to see the dimensions I wouldn't have ordered it - it's much too small for my application.

It is fine for what it is - a small miter box
Given the price and free shipping I thought i'd try the Rolson miter box. It shipped from the UK fully assembled in paper padded mailer, arriving promptly and unscathed, so it can be considered as fortunate for me. My primary intended use is to safely cut small stock to length for truing up on a shooting board or miter trimmer. I was pleased to see the box is made from beech (a dense wood) as the product description just states wood. The saw kerfs are 1/16" and not perfectly true but close enough for my purposes. I added a birch cleat to the bottom of the miter box so I can secure it in my bench vise. I typically use a tenon saw with the miter box for my cuts. In summary, it gets four stars from me based on price, free delivery, and fit for my uses. If one has a different expectation then they may be disappointed in the product.

Beware it's very small.
This will teach me to read the description before I male a purchase. , This is 9×4×2 the inside is 3.75. I thought it would be similar to my 16 year old Stanley miter box which is 13×6 with an inside width of 4.75.

Not even close to 45 degrees!
The is a solid little miter box. It is hard wood and well made. However, both of the 45 degree cuts are way off! One side is about 43.8 and the other is a shocking to 42.5. I did not return it. I use the 90 degree mostly and I re-cut the 45 channels. It is a large kerf, but at least it is accurate.
