Younger child can use
Got one for my five year old son and also his dad and his uncle. The simpler guns are better than those giant monstrosities Nerf makes. The smaller/simpler ones are less prone to trouble, easily and quickly reloaded, and much easier to store or tote around. I specifically looked for one that a younger child could more easily cock and shoot as the cocking action can be very difficult for younger kids. Noise and lights is always fun for kids.

Cool glow
Nice single shot with a glow feature. Got it for my special needs child to help him with his finger strength, loop on plunger is perfect to help his development. Easy to shoot, nice accuracy. Middling range, not a cheap knock-off.

But it!
My 4 year old son loves this toy. He even pretends its a welding gun because it lights up...the foam round is his "filler metal." Super cool, great but, surprisingly accurate shooter!

Nerf N-Strike GlowShot Blaster was an added addition to the Nerf guns we already have in the household. All the Nerf items we have seem well made and have held up to use by both adults and kids in play. These items are better priced than in the stores and are a good value. The trigger system works without pinching any fingers or hands. I wish there were more "bullets" for them when you receive the gun. Overall we are happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Expensive and poor quality
I’ve ordered two of these guns for my kids. The first one broke within three weeks. The second one broke after two months. The lever you pull back to engage the gun to fire stopped engaging in both guns. Therefore it cannot fire and doesn’t work. Pretty expensive gun to get so little use.

Perfect for nerf war and usable for younger kids
Perfect for a family nerf night. Our kids can all use them. This style gives the youngest more of an equal playing field since he struggles with larger style nerf guns. Bought 5 and am happy with all.

Great for my 5 year old
After reading many reviews we decided to get this for my five-year-old who has a hard time with some of the other Nerf guns, he loves it it’s just his size he’s able to operate it by himself, and it lights up! So win win
