I bought this for my Subaru Crosstrek to match the STI pedals. I cut about an inch from the bottom with a dremel tool, removed the original rubber dead pedal, added a little velcro to the new pedal and it fit great. It was installed a few weeks ago and matches up with the other pedals. I show it off and everyone likes the look, plus it is durable with a great price point. Other reviewers commented on a smell; my pedal was fine right out of the wrapper. If you do a little handiwork, this would be a great addition for anybody who wants a little custom look without spending much money.

Perfect fit for 2015 GL63 AMG. Matches AMG pedals beautifully! I was hesitant about the double sided tape but gave it a try because the dead pedal (foot rest) looks so nice. Literally OEM quality. I got it where I desired and made sure the bottom was all the way on the floor-pan. The AMG floor mats have a strip in the left foot rest area. I just tucked it under itself. Super simple to install and absolutely no problems with it moving after 3 weeks. I can’t see ever needing to replace it but if needed for some reason, I would definitely purchase another as long as the manufacturer continues with this type of quality. THANKS!

I am using this to cover the dead pedal in a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and it fits pretty well. The adhesive on the back is not great. I pulled them off and replaced with velcro adhesive and it grips to the carpet on the pedal and stays in place. This looks high end and is a good deal for the price. You may want to use something else to hold it in place, though.

I purchased this dead pedal to match the other pedals in my Dodge Challenger. Although the pedal is wider than the actual foot rest area in the car, the pedal is super easy to install and looks perfect. I just put the pedal in, so I can't comment on how well the tape holds the pedal in place. Awesome deal on this, as some others I've seen cost four times as much.

I have installed similar foot rest / dead pedals on other cars but with a different method of installation. I have to say I was a bit skeptical of this installation method/fit. The listing says it will fit my car, a Mercedes Benz C300 (W204) however the foot rest in this car is carpeted so the thought of double sided tape holding it on didn’t seem too logical.The pedal is a nice item but I felt for my application I needed to be sure it would stay on. I drilled 4 holes and countersunk them. I picked up some bugle head, #6 x 3/4 screws so I could install this more securely. The tape on the backside is pretty sticky but I found that while trying to peel the backing from the tape you can easily pull off the tape from the pedal because it’s stuck to the rubber on the backside. You’ll need to take care not to do this but it’s hard because the tape backing doesn’t come off easily.I lined up the pedal where I wanted it and used the tape to secure it, I then installed the 4 screws. I think the tape would have held it, maybe not forever but now with the screws it’s not going anywhere. On other cars with a plastic foot rest I think the tape will work fine.All in all this is a nice item that dresses up the interior of your car. It’s a nice addition and this is a quality item, especially for the price.

Exactly as advertised. The adhesion strips on the back were fine. I installed it right onto the carpet where my left foot rested in my Mazda 3.It hasn’t budged and in over 3 months of my feet resting and tapping on it. Looks good too.

I purchased this dead pedal to be installed on my 2016 Dodge Durango R/T. Sense Dodge failed to even install one from the factory as standard equipment. The pedal is large and fits the space on the floor resting your left foot while driving. I also purchased the Mopar OEM stainless steel pedal kit for the gas and break pedals. The dead pedal matches perfectly and looks/works great.

It’s cheap plastic. The tape has almost no adhesion. I used it but boy it’s cheap.
