Very happy with this purchase! Ordered this kit to get old Briggs and Stratton engine going that had bad carburetor. This kit came with everything I needed to get the engine going. Fit perfectly and turns out I needed the primer bulb as well. I had ordered the primer bulb from another supplier but it ended up not working so I was glad this kit had the correct one in it! Runs like champ now!

Bought it to put on this mower I've had sitting in my yard for 15 years just to make a video to see if it would run and it fired right up works great

Total replacement with extra items included. So far it works. Have noticed the mower is a little harder to start. Don't know if its the carb or the mower's governor. After starting, it seems ok.

So I bought this carburetor based on the mower model number since Briggs, Kohler, nor Honda seem to care to put part numbers on their carburetors. The mount-up on my Briggs seem pretty straight forward and didn't take any time. However, there's a critical assembly missing on this part. The original 799866 has a choke flap and actuator where this replacement model does not. It might work fine without it but over the years I've found that if there is a choke on the original carburetor, it's there for a reason. I'm not willing to put my mower back together with this carburetor mounted because it will be too much trouble to undo. I've ordered a new replacement based on the cross reference AND the appearance like I should have done to start with.

Me, the novice, was able to install with no issues what so ever! The lawnmower was 30 years old, original carb, replaced with this one, now a new mower!! Only missing part was the hose and clip but was able to use the original hose, GREAT PRODUCT!!
