Awesome stuffer!!
This is a great stuffer. It is very well built and heavy duty. The entire stuffer is made of stainless steel. The meat canister and plunger and stuffing tube removes easily for cleaning. The 2-speed gear system is great when it's time to crank the plunger out when the canister is empty. Just pull the crank handle off of the "slow speed" gear, insert it onto the "fast speed" gear and crank the plunger up and out of the canister. I used the stuffer right after I got it, and did 25 lbs of deer sticks and salami. It worked perfectly. It also comes with 4 stainless steel stuffing tubes that were very easy to install. I wish I had bought this stuffer years ago.

Highly recommended from a butcher
I grew up with butchers, my grandpa was a butcher, I've worked at the butcher shop so I'm used to the industrial machines, decided to try one of these to have at home, all I can say is WOW, if you're looking for a stuffer you just found it, I've put this thing through its paces and it's built well, this isn't a I got it out of the box and looks good review

Works great, if …..
Your sausage mix is soft, fatty and not too cold. We really wanted to love this machine, however it did not work for us. We use a lean beef mix (90/10) with some added spices, onions, garlic etc. To keep things food safe we have to use a mixture that is about 39 degrees Fahrenheit. We filled the cylinder to about 1/3 with mixture and started cranking. It takes a LOT of effort to push that mixture through, to a point were we had to discontinue for safety reasons. We did use a fatty mixture as well (70/30) that was just about room temperature and the machine worked great. However we need to operate within the food safety standard that prevents us from working with meats above 41 degrees.Pros:- Easy to clean- Fast shipping & return- Impressive size and weightCons:- Requires clamps if single operator- Bracket snapped off (on our unit)- Not suitable for chilled, lean meat mixture

Don't bother with the others on Amazon, this is the real deal.
Now this is a stuffer. This puppy is heavy duty. Parts are replaceable from the manufacturer. It holds 30lbs no problem and performs better than any other manual stuffer I have used. Cleans up fairly easy, product left when empty is about one and half patties or between 1/3 to 1/2 lb. Use low speed for stuffing and fast for moveing ram. The only suggestion I could give would be to drill a small hole in supplied rubber feet as they are not tapered and pull out of base when you move it. I drilled a small hole in the rubber bumper and used a stainless steel hog ring through the hole once the feet were in place on the bottom so that when you lift it to move it the feet dont fall out of the frame. Bravo Hakka Brothers. For delivering a high quality product at a very reasonable price. Now if you only made trucks...PS... also got the patty maker for this stuffer and it will be reviewed on the patty maker not here.

Perfect!
What a pleasure to use during this years annual sausage tradition. Our 55th year and 800lbs of italian sausage. The stuffer worked flawlessly and sped things up significantly over the old worm screw type grinder/stuffer! Easy to load, use, and clean! We used the 7liter horizontal and perfect for us. If you don't have a lot of table space then you might want to consider a verticle unit over the horizontal. The horizontal worked perfectly. As a family, we've made over 12 tons of sausage over the years. I can attest that the hakka stuffer is well made and a great filnd for us!!

Great stuffer
This stuffer is perfect for when my buddies and I process our venison meat. Seems very sturdy have been using it for 3 seasons now. Just a tip, if you’re having trouble with it cranking too hard it’s most likely your mix is too tacky/dry. Simply add bit of water to your mix and it’ll make a world of a difference.

Something always breaks
This is a piece of junk. Don't buy, always breaks each time I use it. I make about 500+ LB of sausage a year. Had the cylinder ears break off, the cylinder pop off the pivot lug, the cylinder always comes unclipped and the tilts causing air to enter the sausage casing. Contacted manufacturer and they would not replace the cylinder, had to buy it a $96, no way!! Just stick to the good old solid made units that have the cylinder mounted directly to the base. These that hang on lugs are worthless. Buy "the sausage maker" or "F. Dick" brand. I'm not in any way, shape or form connected with any of these brands, just an ol' country boy that loves making sausage.
