I been buying these large packs of beans for years now. I used to buy them at my local grocery store but since we moved to a different neighborhood I could no longer access these at any store by me. I started ordering them here in bulk and I use them all the time when I cook white rice. They are the perfect beans since all you have to do is warm them up. Easy rice and bean combo. I always get compliments when I cook these beans and have recommended family/friends to buy them as well. They are delicious and worth having.

I love Goya products. This black bean soup is wonderful! And I would have to add that the product is soo wonderful that I didn't mind the amazon packaging that allowed several cans to bust and cause quite a mess. When I said that I didn't mind, that is only because of the wonderful products that remained. I didn't think that it would be kind to send back the remaining undamaged products. I hope that amazon takes the time to package this product better next time. I have pictures if you need them. Thanks.

Just a bit too salty. Using it to mix with other ingredients to make a meat and vegetables soup.

This soup is delicious but at least 13 cans were heavily dented. Not just a little dent but like they had been karate chopped. I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat them quickly so they were donated to the local food bank.

First, this review has nothing to do with the product. These beans are my favorite food and the cans that I did receive that weren't so dented that I couldn't use them or cracked open and spilled all over the box they came in were fine. This review is about what was actually sold to me.Simply, put, Dot Foods absolutely shipped me damaged goods. I'm pretty sure they are just clearing out dented canned goods here. To be honest, this really wouldn't have been that big of a deal if it wasn't for the extensive amount of damaged cans. Out of the 24 cans, I have 23 that seem to be sealed, though there are 4 others that I'm a bit concerned about. I've had to wash each can and inspect them for any leaks, and many will require them to be opened from the bottom using a can opener rather than the pull tab, as some of those were broken or bent to such a degree that they'd become useless.I've added some photos of the cans and the packaging as I received them. Covered in the dried remains of a can that popped open, the cans were not all in their packaging (not that I think they were all really from the same case) and not really packaged well.All in all, I'm a bit disappointed. I won't be buying from Dot Foods again, and I would recommend that you, too, look elsewhere.

I tried Goya products when the Democratic party tried to call for a boycott. I was pleasantly surprised by the great taste. Goya Black Bean Soup is now a favorite!

This Goya soup has been a mainstay of my diet for years now. Always tasty, plenty of fiber and flavor- please, Goya- do not stop making this wonderful black bean soup!
