Amazing customer service!
Absolutely beautiful product at an amazing price, you would not be able to find something of the same finish from a retail store at this price. My partner is very good with DIY so putting together was no issue for him. We had a few minor issues with some of the components, the worst was one of the front panels looking dented and then as if it has been filled in. I was in touch with Gary from Mercers furniture throughout who offered a partial refund and to send the replacement part out. Absolutely amazing service and I would use the company again. 100% recommend!Thank you Gary! :)

It's OK for the price, but....
Mixed views on this chest of drawers. We had to send the first two back as they were damaged, probably the fault of the courier but it doesn’t say much for the packaging when they can get damaged so easily in transit. It’s shipped in two cartons, the parts simply squeezed into a cardboard box with very little in the way of protection.Let’s be honest, it’s cheap so it’s not fair to expect “Chippendale” quality but it’s OK for a spare room or the like. It’s made from very soft pine which you can mark with your fingernail. There are gazillions of parts (most of which aren’t numbered) and the instructions are not great (basically just a sequence of diagrams), so putting it together is a bit of a challenge. You’re best getting some help in some parts and you’ll need to put aside at least 2 to 3 hours (and keep the swear jar handy). Also, be warned, be very careful if you’re using an electric screwdriver/drill to assemble. The wood is VERY soft and it’s very easy to over tighten the screws so they lose grip or, worse still, come through and show on a visible surface.I’ve bought similar furniture in the past for another spare room. The previous furniture had plywood drawer bottoms which were quite strong, but this unit uses hardboard. I can’t tell you how rubbish hardboard is for a drawer bottom, it can take no weight and warps in no time. Very poor cost cutting, I’d rather pay a few quid more and have drawers I can use for more than a few pairs of socks! When we finally completed it, it looks fine. It’s pretty solid and, given the price, I’m happy to have it in our spare room. I doubt it would last long in a room where it got a lot of use though. 3 stars is fair.

Disappointed
Can’t decide whether to send it back or not…. It arrived as per delivery date. On unwrapping the box to check that all parts are there, some of them were damaged. A drawer front with a gouge out of it, as the same as the top piece at the back. Still have opened the second box to check as I’m quite disappointed already.

Great design and well priced.
I love the design of this piece: it's the third item of furniture I've bought of this design. It's sturdy and gives lots of drawer space. Assembly instructions are easy to follow, too.

Disappointed!
A number of the pre drilled holes were not correct. The 30 mm screws (B) were too short for the operation specified. The overall standard of screws was poor. The heads turned off when under stress. Despite the drawing being numbered the wooden parts were not. This added time it took to assemble.
