Cuprinol One Coat Sprayable Fence Treatment Forest Oak 5 Litre

I wasn't sure whether buying a spray on version of our fence paint would work out good value as it is a bit more expensive. However, I happen to have an old spray tan sprayer ( which is exactly the same tech as a fence paint sprayer) so I only had to lay out for the paint.I goes on brilliantly, dries very quickly and leaves an excellent shimmery finish. We used the black colour.As we were painting low quality fence panels they did suck up the first coat quite aggressively so it took a couple of coats. We also painted the concrete posts and of course the great thing with a spray is it gets into the nook and crannies leaving a really uniform finish.It means you have less bits that you have missed.I recommend going left to right and stopping the trigger at each end as you will overpaint either end if you keep the trigger pulled constantly.My oe criticism is the can could easily be fitted with a pouring spout which is unnecessary when about half full but when the can is full pouring without making a mess is almost impossible so lay some paper out and do you fill ups in that one spot.Can recommend it for a faster job though. It will hurt your arms less, give a better finish and I think save you money long term if you have a large area to paint.

Not used this tin yet but i know from previous experience that it is brilliant for doing my fence and shed would highly recommend, only downside is i will be in my garden this weekend doing my shed and fence 😀

You will need 2 to 3 coats and buy 4 times more tins than you think you need. Good colour but very thin. Works well in a sprayer but forget brushing it!

I bought this to spray using a 50l air compressor coupled to a cheap Hvlp spray gun with a 2.0 tip, I had to wait a while for the compressor to recharge but it worked well and saved me some time, the results were really good and the panel coverage was better than expected. I’m very pleased with the appearance it has really refreshed some old fence panels. It is more expensive than most other products and I don’t know how well it will last yet.
