1883 Pet Raspberry Syrup 1Liter

The aroma is rich, and smells exactly like crushed, fresh raspberries. The taste and aroma have not even a hint of the chemical overtones that one often finds with artificial fruit-flavored foods. Maison Routin syrups are top-of-the-line. My family has also tried 4 of their other flavors (elderflower, hazelnut, lavender, and almond orgeat), and raspberry is the biggest hit.

Great flavor. I love Starbucks, but this is so much better.

I buy the Publix brand seltzer water and add a couple pumps of this syrup. It’s delicious!

Probably one of best tasting syrups

I thought all 1883 products were in glass bottles. Nope, not this one. It does not state anywhere in the description that it is in a plastic bottle. I guess we all are supposed to know what pet bottle is. I sure didn't. The company needs to make that clear to the consumer.

I have bought this many times, but my last two bottles were strange. Not much color or flavor. I think they might have changed the recipe, because it really is not the same. One I got a refund for, but when I ordered again, thinking that it might have been defective or tainted, I got the same thing. Too bad. It was my favorite.

This syrup is just ok…doesn’t really taste like raspberry. I’ll stick with the Torani syrups as they are waayyyyyy better!!!!

Look, if this is your first raspberry syrup, you may be OK with it. But if you ever had a good brand, this will fail miserably. Not only it doesn't taste like raspberries, but it also has a chemical flavor to it, found in cheap, bottom shelf products. On the plus side, it is thick it is red, and most likely would please anyone under the age of 10.For $16 ( Dec. 2020 ), this is absolutely the worst buy you can make. Also, while Amazon took care of me, keep in mind this product isn't returnable.
