Nice sauce.
Good tasting apple sauce. Can be a little sweet but tastes nice. Used it on roasts and in the slow cooker both work well.

Time saver
I always keep a few jars in the kitchen. They are good value, with plenty of apple filling the jar (rather than liquid, as with many tinned fruits). I've used them in flans, crumbles, Dorset apple cakes and saved a lot of time compared with peeling slicing and softening fresh apples.
