Not the easiest job to do but it can be done without a lift. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali the other one I ordered was way too tall for this tank.

I am really questioning that this is really a Bosch product!! Paid $300 to have this fuel pump professionally installed because I do not have time to do it due to my career! Had the fuel tank drained and cleaned during the process! Done great for 74 miles and the fuel gauge quit working, shows full all the time now I will return this just as soon as I can get the fuel run out of the tank low enough for my mechanic to do all this over again, which will cost me the labor cost again!!!! Ridiculous!! China crap I’m sure! Amazon needs to check on this product to be sure it is not a knock off!!! Wish I would’ve read all the reviews and not the first five upon the purchasing of this item because it seems that this is a grave issue! Do yourself a favor go and spend the other hundred dollars and buy a Delphi! You will come out ahead in the end. Have a good day! UPDATE 12/2 went ahead and ordered the Delphi and receive the same exact fuel pump. The only thing different is instead of saying Bosch on the top of it said Delphi and it cost another hundred dollars,!!! didn’t even take it out of the box returning it also!! Went local and purchased OEM! absolutely do not want to pay for the labor three times!!!

OEM replacement for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. Very nice pump module,Quiet operation, Nice quality top plate seems stainless though must be a lower grade 304? it is still slightly magnetic but certainly better than plain steel or galvanized. Don't forget the 2 quick release lines inside the tank when you pull the old pump module out. There are 4 quick release lines for the tank removal. 2 at the evap canister in the rear up high, one on the passenger front corner and the high pressure one is on front top left right over the crossmember. It may be easier to see from over outside the frame rail. Overall not a bad job as long as you don't get stuck with a tank full of gas 31 gals to pull.Luck for me I was able to run it down as mine was rotted on the plate.

Went with a Bosch fuel pump for my 98 Surburban and it lasted 200k, so when my 04 Avalanche hit 190k I opted for another Bosch. Install was not difficult. Time and mileage will be the true test but I expect at least 200k out of this pump.

but sending unit is very slow to read gas takes hours to finely read full at fill up

Hard to install on the 07 Cadillac esv but it’s going well and strong but idk how long it will last
