RCA ANT310Z Amplified Indoor FM and TV Antenna in Black

After trying to use one of those flat wall antennas that struggled picking up stations it shouldn't have struggled with (i'm only 12 miles from the transmission site, right in the middle of a major city!), I purchased this antenna and every local channel comes in just fine. It's not small when it extended, i'd guess it's about 4 feet wide and it pretty much covers the top of my 55" TV, but it works.

It has a long connection cable, and works well in certain areas of the house. You may have to reposition it a few times, and re-scan you TV though to get better channel selection. I DO get frustrated sometimes doing that, but I walk away for a while and come back later to try again.I have 9 TV's in my home, and have used different antenna's at various times. I still use different antennas, but this one seems to work the best most of the time. I have Spectrum & Fire TVs so that I can receive channels like FOX News, Smithsonian, etc.You pretty much cannot go wrong with this antenna for the money!

I bought this for my mother. She doesn’t have cable & this antenna worked great. It was easy to install & she was able to get over 50 channels. I would recommend this antenna to anyone that enjoys watching television & wants to quit buying cable.

Does not seem to work very well. We do not get a lot of the channels we should, I think the range is pretty crappy. Probably should have invested in a better antenna.

The best thing about this antenna is that it is cheap. And you get what you pay for, folks.I used this antenna for my FM tuner, and was not able to receive my favorite station without a whole bunch of background noise. I therefore substituted in my homemade folded dipole antenna, and got many more stations, including a much quieter favorite station. Sorry folks, I'm not manufacturing my homemade antenna, something that this antenna manufacturer should consider doing. Oh, and rest assurred that this 'RCA' brand has absolutely nothing to do with the old time RCA victor brand. They should modify the name of their brand to be 'RCA Junque'.

Took a chance on this, as we had a 2004 Hitachi plasma tv in our guest room and didn't want to get a cable box for a room that was not used consistently.We tried Apple TV, but it was too difficult for my Mom in law to use. I gave this a shot, plugged it into the, "Air" connection, and then did a channel scan. Like magic, 36 channels came up. Absolutely PERFECT for basic tv guests can enjoy when in bed. All my MIL wanted was a channel to fall asleep to, lol!!! This fit the bill perfectly.
