This cabbage shredder works great for making sauerkrauts we shredded 50 pounds of cabbage in an hour. I definitely will buy again . Very well built and crafted of top quality wood.

Awesome!
Wasn’t sure if it would be worth it, just for sauerkraut, especially since I found other slicers cheaper. But it’s huge! I’m so glad that I splurged and got this. Wiped it with olive oil before the first use, and it really soaked in! Couldn’t be happier! Be careful it’s sharp!! We are storing it in the original box to keep the kids safe.

Very sharp
It gets the job done, but it was extremely difficult to pull the cabbage across the blades. The wood just causes to much friction. I'd think there has to be a way to safely make it easier to use. Extremely sharp, so be careful when you clean it.

Item poorly made
Item was broken. I called and didn’t get satisfactory response. I threw item away. Item cheap and defective. I don’t like to return items.

Doesn't cut hairline size cabbage required for good sauerkraut
It is a "Lemon", unusable, it cuts 1/4" thick pieces too thick for sauerkraut. Knife gap is to large and not sharp. Stainless steel blade will not last long, needs to be tempered steel. Opening doesn't fit even small cabbage halves, leaving big pieces uncut. Very hard to push through.Don't buy this product.
