🔍 Discover Density Like Never Before!
The EISCODensity Cubes Set includes six distinct metals—Brass, Lead, Iron, Copper, Aluminum, and Zinc—each measuring 20mm on all sides. Designed for educational use, these cubes facilitate hands-on learning in density, specific gravity, and specific heat investigations. The set comes with a convenient plastic snap top case for easy storage and features element stamps for quick identification. While some oxidation may occur due to humidity, the cubes can be easily restored to their original shine.

Perfect For My Classroom!
Great set of cubes for my density lab. It is important to note that these cubes have the name of the metal etched into their surface, while the Ajax brand do not. Both are quality sets but I needed unknown metals for my students to perform a lab with. I remedied the problem by taping small pieces of paper with the number of the cube over the name. Problem solved. Both sets are well constructed, although these cubes were a slight bit higher quality in appearance.

High School Teachers
I teach chemistry and physics (intro, general and AP). Things that the students can touch and feel are always helpful. Price was fair and their density cubes work well for this

these are a good buy.
These are metal cubes. They are as described and serve the purpose of being metal cubes as well as any metal cube could. If you want metal cubes, these are a good buy.

I'm biased having access to high-grade density cubes which are costlier and more difficult to find (for comparison Nickel Metal 10mm Density Cube 99.95% Pure or Bismuth Metal 10mm Density Cube 99.95% Pure) Compared to those these are very roughly cut. Basically someone went to a hardware store and bought a square bar of copper, aluminum and so on and used a hacksaw to chop off cube-sized lengths. Each also comes with a crude stamp with the atomic symbol that looks like it was gouged out by hand with a hot stylus. Purity is unspecified but seeing that they weren't made with any sort of quality control to begin with it really doesn't matter. The sixth cube is brass which is pointless because it is an alloy made from copper and zinc. The amounts of each of these two metals is variable so no reference can be established. It was basically thrown in to make the package seem more attractive even though they were probably aware it was a useless addition. Why not replace it with pure zinc instead? Ah, because you can't get bars of zinc Home Depot, that's why.All that being said for many a rough chunk of metal is good enough and you really can't beat the price on a set like this. The most valuable part here will be to have someone unfamiliar with metals feel the difference between, say, lead and aluminum which is nearly as impressive a demonstration as comparing cubes made of magnesium and tungsten (waaay more expensive).
