My 8 yr old daughter was excited to get this and play, she liked it at first but quickly got bored with it, and so it sit untouched for months now. maybe a younger child may enjoy it better however there is alot of reading so it for reading age kids.

Great for girls
My daughter LOVES this game. It was a birthday gift and she was asking for it for a while. She is not a big video game fan but this is definitely something worth getting.

Good game, if not for problems
First time I played this, I thought it was good and played for hours. Installing the 1.01 patch added more features which is great. You can unlock a number of different materials to make clothing out of; silk, leather, cotton, wool, nylon and there's a colour wheel to choose whichever colour you want.Down to the problems. Firstly, there's been a couple of times where my designer was frozen on the spot and couldn't move. Secondly, after creating many outfits, there's issues where the items are incorrectly labelled; trousers, skirts are listed under dresses for example.On one occasion, a customer came into the shop requesting a black outfit. I gave her a black, long sleeve dress but after trying it on, she's shown in a yellow, short-sleeved dress instead.Outfit options are limited. You can create tops, jackets, coats, pants, skirts, skorts and dress but you can't create swimsuits or styles by pairing up one top with a skirt. Can only do that during fashion shows.

Fun Game
My 9 year old loves this game. There is a good amount of reading but its super fun to design and create all sorts of clothes.
