WORKS PERFECTLY!
The media could not be loaded. I said I would come back and write a follow-up review after actually using the TELESIN Dome for my GoPro Hero8 and it worked perfectly. The video I added as taken with cloud cover at a foam party in the pool and you can still see a clear video through the lens. The ease of stopping and starting videos or taking photos was not unnoticed especially with you being in the water. I will say my only concern was after using the GoPro in the device for about an hour and a half and taking it out, the GoPro was extremely hot! I like I took it out of the case and immediately had to drop it on the beach chair because it was that hot. Just something I would be cognizant of you are someone planning on using the GoPro in the dome for an extended period of time.

Does the job
Good quality overall.Travels well, albeit a little bulky with the handle (use the foam it comes with for travel).Given the limited options for Hero 8 domes, this was a no-brainer purchase.I suggest buying rain x wipes to keep the water from messing up your photos or videos. It keeps water (droplets) from building up on the outside.

This is great for what it's supposed to do! The thing is it's bulky so as a traveler my goal is to condense my camera gear and this is hard to take with since it's so bulky.But it does great for what it's supposed to do!

Save your money!
Total waste! The pistol grip and trigger are useless. The trigger button to take a picture is built into the housing. It is very stiff and takes a lot of manual pressure to take a picture. It's useless with the pistol trigger because it takes more pressure to push down than the trigger can exert. Instead of pushing down on the button, the trigger slips to the side of the button, making it totally useless. The camera housing is flimsy and cheap. The back lid just broke off after using the device only twice. Nice concept, cheep delivery. Not worth it. Look for a different option.
