The blue of these tea cups is a lovely shade. The size is good for a normal cup of tea. The handle has a notch-like shape at the bottom of it, so the finger you use to steady the handle/cup fits nicely in it. The interior of the cup is white, so you can see how steeped your tea is. The complementary saucers are very pretty, too. These are well-made, and well-painted. It all looks professional. I have not used the spoons that come with it. This would make a lovely, thoughtful gift for the tea drinker in your life.

The cups and saucers are lovely. I gave the set to a friend and she was delighted. She mentioned that her husband really like the cups and saucers as well. The set is made of very nice quality china. The spoons are cute, but of lesser quality. Unless that is important to someone, it is a very nice set of cups and saucers.

I spent a semester teaching in Provence, France and fell in love with the food culture overall, but particularly the afternoon coffee break. Patisseries offer small cups with matching saucers and wonderful strong coffees and teas. The French don't walk around with their coffee, they savor it sitting down enjoying another's company or to read a book. This was new to me and I vowed to begin the practice once home. I'm back in the US now and so happy to have my own French coffee service for my afternoon breaks. They are lovely, match my French country kitchen, and the handles are easy to use.

The cups and saucers are nearly perfect and very pretty. I was pleased when I searched and found a number of matching items that appear to be from the same manufacturer. I ordered "plates" to complete my place settings for a tea party. Japanese plates are what I would consider shallow bowls.The cups aren't large, but they hold 7 ounces and are very attractive with a beautiful finish. They have a graphic quality that will enhance your place settings and the saucers are a great match.My only concern was that I received two identical cups instead of four cups with a different design on each. I notified the seller and hope to swap one of the duplicate cups.This set is a great value for the money. The cups should be very versatile as they are beautiful and comfortable in your hands. I plan to be very careful with them and hope that they will be durable.

I love these coffee cups!

My father in law grew up in Italy, so he likes some flair. He prefers China over mugs, but he is old and has arthritis and it’s hard for him to hold most cups. I bought these as a housewarming gift and also because they are of thinner porcelain. He is in love with them. They are easy for him to hold, they look very fancy with the designs (which are masculine enough for him) and he loves that they come with a saucer. He won’t drink his coffee without one. He loves them so much, he ordered another set. They don’t look cheap either.

Very elegant, fun colors, ideal for gifting. It comes in a nice box with a set of interesting looking small spoons. Does well in the dishwasher.
