I bought one Delphi coil the other day in an attempt at pinpointing the ignition break up under mild acceleration. Previously, the Snap On diagnostic machine at a friend's garage did not throw any codes for this condition but he suggested that in many cases on the GM 3800, an EGR valve might be the culprit. Blocking that off did not do the trick so I decided to buy one coil, swap it out with my 3 coils one at a time and hopefully, isolate the problem. As luck would have it, the coil at the bottom of the picture was the one acting up and it was the first one I picked. Since they are all the same, swapping the new one with the other two to isolate the problem was not necessary.I consider that a very economical repair at 28 dollars.This is a 2000 Buick Park Ave with the supercharger option and I have been the owner since July of 2000 with 62 miles on the odometer when I picked up the car at the dealership.

These are exactly as pictured and described on Amazon's page. I just installed 3 of these on my 3.8 Buick with no problems at all so far. They fit perfectly, just like OEM. I'll order and install a new Delphi ignition module in a month or so . The current one is ok. . just want to do a bit of preventive maintenance after 125K miles.Will do an update review in a month or so.

Not all that handy with cars, but these were a breeze to put in. Working well so far.

This is great when you are converting to an HEI ignition on a twin cylinder engine that uses a wasted spark on a cylinder. Robins engine golf cart or Harley Davidson. Older models.

Only lasted 4 months.

Coils came quickly and we're a perfect fit and function for a 1999 GMC Sonoma 2.2l
