Hazelnuts Roasted Ground(Coarse) 1 Kg Free P & P

Economical hazelnut flour. At least the pack I received was quite finely ground, similar to ground almonds. Other reviews mention chopped consistency. As in the item listing picture, there are specks of hazelnut skin.Taste sample of the flour results: mild but distinct hazelnut flavour, faint bitterness.Today I'll use the ground hazelnuts to make a keto chocolate mug cake. Hoping for Nutella flavour.Shall purchase again when this pack is finished. Can't wait to see whether I'll receive the flour or the chopped version. Exciting times.

The description of ground hazelnuts along with the picture is not accurate and very misleading. I would describe these as roughly chopped, and even then there were quite a few whole nuts. As I needed ground nuts these were not what I wanted. Also the bag was poorly sealed so it had leaked into the outer wrapper. In all I am very disappointed with this product and as such would not recommend it, unless you want chopped nuts. I would expect this description should be rewritten to more accurately reflect the product.Disappointed.

I don’t remember this saying course in the product description when I ordered it but I could have missed that. I do think this product was good quality but was pretty coarse so so beware for your baking needs.

I used these to make the hazelnut meringue layers of a Japonaise torte. They were perfect for the job plus just right for sprinkling on top of it with a touch of caster sugar.

I am making amazing brownies with it. I also use it to build aroma on the coffe an it taste amazing

Not edible. The product received was full of lumps of shell. It also was not retail packaged but just in a plain plastic bag.

I was disappointed with this purchase, they are more toasted than I’ve had before which gives a strange slightly overpowering flavour. I won’t order again

This flour is an essential ingredient for my ten layered Esterhauzy Cake with plenty left over for me to indulge in further baking……..
